Spirit Mound Trust "The Lewis and Clark / Spirit Mound Trust is dedicated to the purchase, preservation, and restoration of Spirit Mound, of the of the few remaining Missouri River landmarks visited by Captains Lewis and Clark on their historic journey of 1804-1806." The Spirit Mound Trust has been working to restore Spirit Mound to the conditions Lewis and Clark experienced over 200 years ago, and to promote the beauty and history of Spirit Mound. The Trust works closely with the South Dakota Department of Game, Fish, and Parks. Board of Directors
The Spirit Mound Trust publishes a newsletter every year containing the latest information on Spirit Mound. The newletter goes out to all members. Come back, we'll be adding newletters and other Spirit Mound Publications to this site soon! Show your support for Spirit Mound and purchase a beautiful Lewis and Clark Print or a Lapel Pin, click here. Become a Member! Most of our financial assistance comes from grants and membership dues. Please join us by sending $10 along with your complete name and address. You may also download the membership/donation form. Members receive our annual newsletter. We welcome larger contributions.
